Questions before you start

Will my face or appearance change?

No. Your face, hair, clothing and pose stay exactly as photographed. PortraitDock only replaces the background and sets the framing — no beauty filters and no reshaping of your face.

What kind of photo works best?

A clear photo of one person with the whole head in frame and reasonable light. Ordinary phone photos work; the guide shows what to look for.

How to take a good source photo

What do I get?

A full-resolution JPEG and PNG without a watermark, either square (1200 × 1200 px) or portrait (1200 × 1500 px).

Do I need an account?

No. You can create a personal portrait without registering. You pay through Stripe's secure checkout and the receipt is emailed to you.

How long does it take?

Your preview is usually ready in about a minute, depending on the photo and current load. You review it before you pay.

What happens to my photo?

The photo you upload is private. If you don't buy, the photo and preview expire after 7 days. After a purchase your results are kept for 30 days from payment, so download them in time — you can also ask for earlier deletion. To separate you from the background, an AI service provider (the OpenAI API) processes the photo. We don't train our own models on your photos, sell them or use them in marketing without separate permission. How providers handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
